Partner Phubbing and Relationship Satisfaction in a Romantic Relationship

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between partner phubbing and relationship satisfaction in a romantic relationship. To participate in this study, you must:

(i) be a Malaysian,

(ii) own a cell-phone, and have a partner who owns a cell-phone,

(iii) be aged between 18 – 35,

(iv) has been in a romantic relationship for more than 1 year

If you decide to take part in this study, you will first be given an informed consent form and a demographic form that requires your basic information such as your age, relationship length, own a cell-phone, and have a partner who owns a cell-phone and nationality. You will then be required to complete two questionnaires, namely 22-items of Generic Scale of Being Phubbed and 7-items of Relationship Assessment Scale to assess your relationship satisfaction. Upon completion, you will be asked to forward the link to anyone they know who meets the requirements. The entire study should not take longer than 10 minutes to complete.
