About me
I am a PhD candidate in Developmental Science at the University of Alberta, Canada. I received my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Psychology from North Dakota State University following an American Degree Transfer Program at Methodist College Kuala Lumpur. I work with children and families, using a combination of methods (e.g., behavioral tasks, EEG, self-reports) to understand adolescent socio-emotional development and how these processes relate to psychopathology outcomes. Outside of research, I enjoy playing badminton with my friends and exploring new food spots (though I still think Malaysian food is unmatched). I’m always happy to share my experiences and answer any questions about research, graduate school, or studying in North America, so feel free to reach out anytime.
