Good day, dear group members. My name is Hanin Noori. I'm a student researcher at Monash University Malaysia. I hope everyone is safe and sound.
I'm doing my Master's in Professional Counseling and currently researching Autobiographical Memories, which are memories of one's own life, so my research mainly involves recalling memories.
I'm currently looking for participants and thought I'd share my research here in case anyone would like to join. The survey is particularly suitable for those who enjoy spending some time reminiscing about their memories.
The survey would take approximately 15-30 minutes; it's online and anonymous. Though, I'm not going to hide that some participants took longer than 30 minutes. This variation is possibly due to differences in memories recalled among participants.
My target population is Malaysians aged at least 30 years old, so, It has been difficult for me to find participants; that's why I'm reaching out to as many people as I can. Currently, I've received 116 responses out of the 150 target sample size. So, 34 more to go.
Upon completing the survey, you will receive a RM 10 GrabFood GiftCard.
Also, I would genuinely appreciate it if you consider forwarding my survey to your relatives and friends who might fit the criteria.
For every two persons you refer the survey to; you'll receive RM 5 GrabRide GiftCard. You can redeem an unlimited number of RM 5 GrabRide GiftCards.
For example:
- If you refer to 2 persons, you'll receive 1x RM 5 GrabRide GiftCard
- If you refer to 4 persons, you'll receive 2x RM 5 GrabRide GiftCard

Just a heads up: there are three main sections in the survey:
- Demographic Questions
- Memory recall (10 keywords)
- Quantitative questions about the memories reported
The Memory Recall section is the longest part of the survey because it includes ten written questions (10 keywords). After this section, the survey gets much quicker to complete.
Also, I understand that the survey can be overwhelming for some. So, to make it a little bit more convenient, I designed the survey in a way that you can pause at any point during the study and continue at a later time; the website would save your previous answers.
Feel free to comment under the post or message me should you have any questions regarding the survey.
Thank you so much for your time, and have a nice day.
