Institution/Organisation: HELP University & Nottingham-Trent University
Brief description of Research:
We are a group of researchers from HELP University, led by Ms Elaine Fernandez, Senior Lecturer and Social Psychologist from HELP's Department of Psychology and Mr David Fernandez, Clinical Psychologist and PhD Candidate from Nottingham-Trent University, who are collaborating with a global team of researchers from over 40 countries to conduct a study on sex and sexuality called the International Sex Survey.
If you are 18 years old or older and a Malaysian citizen, we would like to seek your help in completing this survey and sharing it with your contacts who are eligible, as we are looking to get as many Malaysians as possible from all walks of life to participate in this study.
The goal of this study is to gain a better understanding of the sexual life and health of people from around the globe using solid empirical evidence, and also to identify the best measures to use for these purposes that can lead to more valid future research in this area.
The survey should take approximately 25-30 minutes to complete and for every completed survey, the research team will be donating 50 cents (USD) to an NGO of each participant's choice. We appreciate the time you take to complete this, and can assure you that your participation will be contributing to our understanding of this area both in Malaysia, and across the globe.
